One of my best finds in Taipei this trip - pineapple cakes that some say is too real for their taste. Real in the sense that you feel like you're eating fresh, real pineapples, so real it comes equipped with fibers and all!
The thing I love most about Sunny Hills, however, is the fact that whoever comes into the shop are served with tea and pineapple cakes - free of charge! - in their modern, rustic chic environment. Most people do leave, like me, with several boxes of pineapple cakes, so in comparison this free of charge policy is a small price to pay for bulk purchases. However, this also says more. A sign of Sunny Hill's confidence in their products; clever marketing techniques; but most of all, the warmth and hospitality of the Taiwanese people.
I wanna go to this place!!! Such a clever attitude... making both sides happy by being gracious=D

Hi Nana,
Is this the same place as SolarismBakery?? I have been told that they don't put any conservative and it is the only place where they use pineapple (others bakeries use watermelon??). it is right?
Thanks
Cheers, Christine
PS: i am going next week to Taipei and I'd like to visit these places!
